  8. After a long period of learning, programming and beta-testing I am proud
  9. to present the new version of FileCheck - the best filechecker for AMMS.
  10. Version 3.0 is completly rewritten in ANSI-C. It is much more faster and
  11. more flexible as older versions. Here is a small list of some features:

  13.  - checking files for errors
  14.  - checking for duplicates / optionally a fast dupe-checker
  15.  - get file_ids from files
  16.  - add files
  17.  - strip files
  18.  - convert file_ids
  19.  - remove chars in file_ids
  20.  - add a line to file_ids
  21.  - remove lines in file_ids
  22.  - operations can be disabled
  23.  - only needed dirs will be checked
  24.  - many supported filetypes
  25.  - a lot of options
  26.  - nice interface
  27.  - setreturn is directly supported
  28.  - own outputs can be configured 100%
  29.  - some operations can be switched off for named users or boards
  30.  - ...

  32. At the moment three languages/styles for the output-texts are included.
  33. If you have designed a new one, I will be pleased if you send it to me.

  35. Also included are amigaguide-manuals for the english and the german 
  36. language. The english guide was translated by Thomas 'Shadow' Knuppe.
